First Visit

At your first visit, the doctor and our treatment coordinator will review your history, do a clinical examination and answer any questions you may have. If it is determined that orthodontic treatment is a possibility, an appointment will be scheduled to take diagnostic records.

Various diagnostic records are needed to properly assess your need for orthodontic treatment. These include X-rays (Cepholometric, TMJ, Panorex), impressions of your teeth for plaster casts, and both intra-oral and facial photographs. All of your diagnostic records will be taken with our latest state of the art equipment. A pre-treatment consultation is then scheduled to review these records.

At this appointment, we will discuss the doctors treatment recommendations. In order to enhance understanding of orthodontic treatment, we will detail your diagnosis, the time involved, and cost and commitment for excellent results. We are here to answer your questions, and make you feel comfortable in the knowledge that you are receiving the best care possible.
